(note that some shows broadcast in wide screen) top & bottom is cut off...and in hi def the box (picture is showing like a box) all around is black out...don't feel bad I have 56 inch hi def and get mad.... i have 4inches all around all black out if i wanted a 48 .....
I would like to know the same. We purchased ours on 10/25 and on 12/29 a black half moon shape showed up in the lower left hand side of the screen. Now the rightmost side of the screen is almost covered in black circles. There are also varying widths of lines going up and down on the right half of the screen.
We have tried contacting cusomer service and keep getting voicemail.
Hello...try to power off by the switch on front panel..instead of remote...then pwr up the tv and maybe it's ok...or maybe try text clock function on off..and be sure that you are in "tv" mode..so it isn't in "semitxt" mode...good luck ron
If you have black panel os sides the picture is not HD. Not allways the HD broadcasting have HD shows. The advertising for example is not HD. Check the picture size in the tv to be "allonged" and play with the screen size with your cable box remote. Usually is # button.
From what I know LC42D62U has no TV Guide feature.
