When I had a Sony Cybershot, during playback mode the volume was controlled with either the Up, Down or Left, Right buttons (the circle with the little pictures on it; it's been like 3 yrs since I had my Sony) & I could adjust while it was playing. Hope this helps.
What the manual doesn't tell you is that you need to change the REC mode first to be able to fint the buttons in MENU.
Fist go into the REC mode (the one above menu when taking a photo). Change this to PGM and click OK. Now go into MENU, on the 3/4 page second button down should be a box with a + in the corner. This is the colour mode option. You can now change to vivid, sepia or black and white.
Since camera model number is not mentioned in question, there are 2 ways to view pictures in Sony camera. Either you will find Play Back symbol in mode dial on camera, rotate mode dial until playback is selected or camera has Play Back button near LCD which need to be pressed so camera will shift to playback and you can view pictures in memory.
Hey Gregorious03, You could try removing the batteries for at least one minute and then reinserting them, or you could try initializing the camera back to the factory settings under the setup menu. I hope this helps! Sincerely, Allan Go Ahead. Use Us.
