a 6ya expert can help you resolve that issue over the phone in a minute or two.
Best thing about this new service is that you are never placed on hold and get to talk to real repairmen in the US.
the service is completely free and covers almost anything you can think of.(from cars to computers, handyman, and even drones)
click here to download the app (for users in the US for now) and get all the help you need.

It's very possible that you got a bad DIMM of RAM if this started right after adding more.
If you have RAM from different manufacturers, even though it might be the right specs, and should work I've seen situations where the 2 DIMMS just don't play nicely together.
You can use a Linux LiveCD to test the RAM for defects. Just boot the LiveCD (holding the Option key after the chimes) and when you get to the grub screen select "memtest86". there are a ton of LiveCD's available. I would suggest Ubuntu.
If it turns out that the RAM is fine the tech will need more info to help although he/she should have asked some probing questions.
Doesn't anyone know how to give specific details about their issue instead of broad generalizations (it crashes) anymore...? :) Just playing...
"When" does it crash? Right after you turn it on? After 3 hours of usage every day (possible overheating)? What apps are you running when it crashes? Tell him "exactly" what it says on the screen when it crashes as it could be a kernel panic or a specific application causing it from the description given
I realize to a non-tech the perception can often be "This didn't start happening until you touched my computer" but realistically adding RAM, unless it's bad, won't cause that behavior as long as it's seated properly and the tech didn't forget to reconnect any fans, etc.
It would not be out of line to ask the shop to double check that the above isn't the case. Unless all of the above had already been double checked and confirmed they can't determine that "nothing's wrong".
I really do hope this helps anyone how has a similar issue and reads this.

The problem is probably to do with the servers being clogged up with users but in any case if i were you i would update to the latest flash and java software then restart the computer.
Get Adobe flash here >>>>>>>
And Java here >>>>>>

OK here you go bro. This advice is from someone who actually uses a Mac. Quit guessing. Its me fool.
In Safari: select Safari at top tab, select preferences, select autofill, and uncheck all the boxes.
In Firefox: select Firefox at top tab, select preferences, select privacy, and uncheck all the boxes under history. In the same box check Always clear private data when firefox closes. Select clear now button and check all the boxes and select clear private data now. Now click Security Tab and uncheck remember passwords for sites so that they are not automatically filled in when you start typing in the first letter.

If you don't have the System Preferences in the Dock, just drag the icon from Finder under Applications to the Dock. On the other hand, if the icon is misbehaving in the Dock, then right click on the icon in the Dock and select Options>Remove from Dock and then do what I wrote in the first sentence.
If the above did not help you try this, go to the dock, and, while holding down the "control key", select the System Preferences icon. This opened up a dialogue box with few choices...then choose "Quit". Then System Preference application opened.

Mac, like linux, does not often get viruses and anti-virus software would pretty much be useless. Virus developers don't target Mac or Linux OS'es because not enough people use them. To do so would be a waste of their time.
