Sanyo lcd hdtv model DP26648
Sony dvd/vcr recorder model RDR-VX560
I can't figure how to hook the two up so it will record from tv. I can play dvd disk and vhs tapes and see them on the tv but can' record to the vcr part. this recorder doesn't have a tuner. lI have been trying since sept. to hook this up. Then I was told today that this TV does not give out a Video output. I have another vcr that ''will'' record from the tv so.. is this so? I should have done more research before I bought this tv

Cant get power to sanyo vcr recorder

Part of the power supply feed to the VCR is not functional, a bad capacitor is more likely, but you need a professional to assess, probably cheaper to replace the whole unit.

New Sony DVDVCR RDR-VX560 seems to be locked up

Problem was solved by Holding down the "ENTER" button for no less than 10 seconds and after releasing it press "SYSTEM MENU". This will take you to the setup screen on your TV.
where all settings can be made from there by following the on screen directions.
