SOURCE: CHANGE THE LIGHT IN MIELE OVEN

Had the same problem. Ended up removing interior oven panels (sides first then top on model H310B). This is easier than you might think. Could then get a good grip on the light's glass cover and it unscrewed easily.

SOURCE: how is the glass cover removed to change globe in a miele oven

unplug the oven, grab cover and turn anti clockwise, sometimes the glass welds itself to its holder and will break, may have to replace this aswell.

I have a Miele H147-2mb combi oven. If I start microwave in the 900w mode for a little bottle with milk i see a flame on the topplate of the oven. It's a circle with a diameter of 5 - 10 cm.

Hi there - the cover plate is most likely to be damaged or theres dirt build up behind the cover plate causing it the arc or short to the frame...

Worse case is the microwave cannot be used as it will cause more damage to the oven.. there are a few screws holding the cover plate to the top - remove it gently - if not damaged as its made of fibreglass you may be able to re-use it - inspect the hole/microwave entry for the damage caused by the arc reactions.

Pending on how bad it is - you may just have to use the oven only as one needs to replace the entire casing to overcome the problem which is costly. Wipe the carbon off the oven with a damp cloth - please don't scrap it off as it will enhance the arcing and if the damage is already excessive then reside to using the oven only.

Good luck

I am trying to replace the light bulb in a Miele H326 oven but I cannot remove the glass cover in order to get at the bulb. Can you suggest the best method?

Usually they just screw off, may need a good turn as they can be tight due to the heat. If not then you may need to remove the back panel, usually 4 screws. Otherwise a bit of elbow grease to turn it anti-clockwise.

Miele Oven H387. Oven does not heat up. Everything else seems to work fine. All troubleshooting ideas in manual are exhausted. Thanks

If the fan is working o/k, then it is more than likely a faulty element, this is located at the rear of the oven compartment behind a removeable cover.

What is fault 90 on a miele oven?

F90 is an oxygen sensor fault and this is a free of charge repair in the UK
If you turn appliance off via mains for 60 seconds and turn back on this will rectify problem temporary allowing you to use the oven.

Miele pyrolytic oven: error 90

F90 is a faulty oxygen sensor. This fault clears after resetting your circuit breaker for 24hrs only. you will not be able to use any automatic programmes as the oxygen sensor measures the moisture in the air and then decides how long to cook for. You will need a Miele service technician or a registered service agent to replace the oxygen sensor. This should be covered under warranty but check with your local Miele dealer first.
