Video streaming is very slow and choppy. It streamed fine when I first purchased it. I've already upgraded the memory and have run anti-virus software.

SOURCE: Videos pause alot i cant watch a full video

Performance problems are caused mainly by two things: low memory and data fragmentation on your hard drive. If you're running a late version of Windows (Vista or 7RC), on only 1GB of RAM you're bound to run slowly.
Keeping the laptop on sleep or hibernate mode for several days, or weeks at a time, cause garbage left by improperly written software to exhaust your available memory, no matter how much you have.
The simple fix is to restart your laptop every other day or so. This is good both for your sanity and your laptop, and clears up any garbage in your memory.
If you're experiencing the problem when watching a DVD, then the problem is most likely caused by the shortage of memory. You can also help by closing any programs and stopping any unused services from your Services window, to reduce memory use.
The next cause can be fixed two ways:
1) The least expensive one is to run Disk Defragmenter, from Start->Accessories->System Tools. It's not very sofisticated as other tools, but it does the job.
2) Buy special software to maintain your data defragmented, such as Norton System Works.
If you're running Symantec 360 or similar software, you have a better tool here. Check the program Help for ways to run Disk Optimization automatically and effectively.
Regarding your video card score, it's a concern, but it should not be the reason for the hic ups you're experiencing. Downloaded movie files are rather large, and should be written all at once, and alone, when data is least fragmented, to ensure one clean smooth stream from your hard drive during playback.
Good luck!

SOURCE: acer aspire one slow running on skype video

That system is upgradeable to 2 GB DDR2 RAM (one stick) which would probably help, but if not there's really nothing else upgradeable in that system. Going with the current costs of RAM (when shopping online, like at newegg or zipzoomfly) it would be worth it to upgrade it just to give it a try and see if that does help.

Choppy internet connection

If you are a frequent viewer of Internet-based video, then you know how frustrating it can be when streaming video doesn't play correctly. When a video is described as being "choppy," it can mean several things, including out-of-sync audio, stuttering frame rate and/or inconsistent stream speeds. However, although this term can mean several things, there are several ways to address all of these issues at once and help make your video viewing experience a bit smoother. Empty your Internet browser's cache and temporary files. Click the "Tools" menu and then select "Clear Private Data Now" (in Firefox) or "Delete Browser history" (in Internet Explorer). When you browse the Internet, your browser collects information from the websites you visit and carries this information as temporary and cache files. Too many of these files can bog down your computer, so delete them. Disable hardware acceleration. Open your computer's "Control Panel" and then click "Display." Select the "Settings" tab, click on "Advanced" and then click "Troubleshoot." Drag the hardware acceleration slider all the way to the left. This procedure can help reduce the strain on your processor, which can lead to choppy videos. Add virtual memory. If you are using Windows Vista or 7, you can add extra RAM to your computer by plugging a USB mass storage device into the computer. The operating system will automatically convert the unused space into RAM. Run your disk defragmenting utility. Click "Start" and then select "Programs." Click "System Tools" and then "Disk Defragmenter." This utility will eliminate the fragmenting of files, which could be taxing your processor. Sony VAIO vgatz750p has problems plating video. Playback is in almost slow motion and choppy

You probably need more ram memory. Also try playing a video in your dvd player. If it plays slow and choppy you definitely need more ram memory.

If you are trying to play a video from a website (streaming) then three things can affect how smooth it plays.
1) Memory - your ram memory might be low
2) The website might be experience heavy traffic from many users.
3) The Line Speed of your internet connection from your service provider might be slow. For example: AT&T sells about 3 or 4 different packages and each one increases the line speed for uploading or downloading. If you buy the low end package the line speed is very slow on uploading and downloading or streaming. It's ok for just surfing, but nothing else.

Computer

Choppy Video? What do you mean choppy video? Is the video starting and stopping rather than playing continuous? If so, either you need more memory or the site you are watching the video from is slow. Also sometimes you line speed on the computer might be slow if you are watching the video online.

How does the video play if you played a DvD in your computer? If it plays the DvD without stalling, then your problem is more than like the site you are watching or the line speed as you stream the video.

Acer aspire one d257 bluetooht not working after reinstal win 7

I've encountered a situation on my acer aspire 3680 where in Windows 8 Prerelease, I had to download and install the proper video driver from the acer.com website to allow it to have full resolution. Maybe try this for the Bluetooth and video controller problem, if you can even see the screen in windows 7.

I just upgraded my PC 300PL IBM computer's RAM from 128 MB, to 256 MB on each slot (3 slotes), When i watch videos from my pc, or videos from online sites, The playback is slow and choppy. I was wondering...

The problem is that the video-player on your computer is "starving" for audio/video, because your download-speed is not fast-enough to "feed" the stream.

So, when a video starts to play, click PAUSE, and wait for the download to proceed for a while; then, click PLAY, to view the already-downloaded stream.

Video streaming that constantly buffers

At&t offers 4 speeds to its customers, 768 kbps 1.5 mbps, 3.0 mbps & 6.0 mbps.  On the 1.5 connection depending on what type of video you're watching, you will experience some glitching.  If your general internet seems slow, then scan for malware/spyware.
I reccomend you use malwarebytes free version doesn't give realtime protection
