Kenmore 90 series will drain but not spin

the clutch should be checked for wear by spraying water from water bottle on it when you run the spin load and it should not show any steam or sizziling, you can also remove the clutch and try to hand spin the inside while holding the body it should not be able to spin easily, should be difficult to move. should be a tight fit, im sending more pics but fixya giving me problem s sending them, also check the motor coupler for damage or broken pieces on floor.

please rotate your cycle dial in the opposite direction of its usual motion by 90 degrees (probably counter clockwise). Then you can run the cycle again and the drain/spin/rinse should work. Otherwise, please power cycle your washing machine.

My washer did the same thing and it was the safety switch that determines if the washer lid is closed or not. If you replace the safety switch it will spin and drain again. :)

possible restricted drain pump. if it does not spin then it is possible the tranny is bad

check your lid switch...bad lid swich...

Replace the timer.

You may try the speed selection switch.....Ive had problems with these.
