Most SD cards have a notch on the edge with a small plastic slider. The slider can be pushed to either end of the notch:closer to the metal contacts, or closer to the free edge (which is exposed when the card is in the camera). To fix the "locked" message, just push the slider toward the metal contacts. This is the "unlocked" position.

When I turn my camera on all I get is it saying card locked what does that mean and how do I fix it ????

SD cards have a slide switch along one edge. The position farthest from the metal contacts locks the card, protecting it from writes. The position nearest the contacts unlocks the card.

How do you unlock the camera card?

1.) If you mean how do you get the card out of the camera:- "To remove the memory card from the camera, first turn the camera off. Then open the Battery/Memory card door, press down on the top edge of the memory card, and it will spring outward from the slot." - 2.) The User manual can be downloaded here:-
http://www.retrevo.com/search/v2/jsp/mytrevo/myTrevo.jsp?page=man - 3.) If you mean that the card is 'write protected' there is a little slider on it which 'locks/unlocks' it

SD cards have a slide switch along one edge. The position farthest from the contacts locks the card, protecting it from writes. The position nearest the contacts unlocks the card. If the switch is already in the proper position, slide it fully the other way and then back again.

SD card Locked

The error code 000060 means SD card locked. The switch on your card may be unattached internally. Try a different card.

What does "card locked" mean and how do I get it to go off the screen so I can take pictures again?

Yes card locked means litrarily "card is locked." So you must unlock it.

Eject the memory card and take good look it. On one of the edges you will see a very tiny "latch." Slide it to the other side, and the card is unlocked. One position is the locked position while the other is the opened position.

What does it mean when the camera says "Card Locked"?

Well, if your camera has an SD memory card for instance, most of those have a tiny sliding switch on the left side. Slide the switch down, and the card can't be written to- AKA "locked". Sometimes the card can be locked accidentally just by inserting it into the camera. Slide it up to unlock it.

What it mean want the card is saying that it's lock

What this means is there is a switch on the little card that is in locked position. What you do is take out the card and unlock it. If its already unlocked there maybe a format issue or a issue with the camera itself.

Thanks for using Fixya
