Lexmark C510 34 short paper error

When I go to print the printer initiates and pushes out two pages that are blank and then beeps with a 34 Short Paper error. I have tried resetting the printer, checking the Mac if it is sending the correct paper size, reseating the paper guides in the paper tray (all multiple times) and nothing seems to make a difference. Any ideas? Thank you!

As it turns out - this is what happens when you do not have the latest driver from Lexmark. After downloading the latest driver it works as it should.

The error means that the printer has determined that length of paper in source specified on second line of display is too short to print formatted data. If this error occurs again, press Go to clear message.Ensure paper size setting in paper menu is correct for paper size.

SOURCE: Lexmark Opra M410 Laser

Your printer has a separation pad that is worn out and needs to be replaced. This pad prevents the printer from feeding multiple pages. It is located in the inside front of the paper tray Assembly.

T632 printer error : 34 short paper. What does that mean? Don't see 34 as a valid error code.

This error message means that the printer has determined that the length of the paper in the source specified on the second line of the display is too short to print the formatted data. For auto-size sensing trays, this error occurs if the guides are not in the correct position.

Please try to do the following

? Press Go to clear the message and continue printing. The printer does not automatically reprint the page that prompted the message.

? Make sure the Paper Size setting in the Paper Menu is correct for the size paper you are using. If MP Feeder Size is set to Universal, make sure your paper is large enough for the formatted data.

? Press Menu to open the Job Menu and cancel the current job. Please see also the media guidelines on the user manual p.29

Printing blank pages on Lexmark C510 printer. Throws a 34 Short Paper error first, prints out a blank page. I have replaced the black toner, but problem continues. Demo page printed colors successfully but...

For 34 Short Paper error, reseat the tray guides and make sure it is set properly. Also, set the correct settings in the computer. For blank pages, always double-check the paper settings and again the settings in the computer. For not printing black, print the Print Quality page and see what color is not printed or not showing. If Print Quality shows black, try printing any document from any application in the computer. Check if you still have the problem. If problem is not resolved, leave a comment so I can get back to this.

My Lexmark x1150 printer prints blank pages.

Usually, when the printer prints, but the page comes out blank, the print head on your cartridges is clogged. Since you pointed out that you computer was repaired, I guess you weren't printing during that period, so it is quite normal that the cartridges won't print. Here is a link to Lexmark's site.
http://support.lexmark.com/index?page=content&id=HO1562&actp=search&viewlocale=en_US&userlocale=EN_CA&segment=SUPPORT&productCode=LEXMARK_X1150&searchid=1270554483928.
Read carefully and follow the instructions. If necessary, do several nozzles cleaning, but do bear in mind that it uses a lot of your ink.

Error message reads "34 short paper". What does this code mean and what can I do to correct it? Thanks

This error means that the type of paper that is configured in the printer is different from the one you have chosen in your computer to send for printing. Make sure that the paper size is the same in both places the computer program you are using and the printer. For example if I have a Letter size word document that I want to print but the printer has A4 configured then I will get the 34 short paper error but If I change the paper in the printer and the setting to letter size then everything should print fine.

The printer does not auto detect your paper size and so when your Legal size document was printed on Letter size paper, you get a 34 Short Paper message.
