Question about Epson Stylus Photo RX500 Printer
I have an Epson RX500 all-in-one. It will pring and copy OK, but not respond to scanning commands. I have followed Epson's web site support instructions 3 times: deleting all Epson folders and redownloading needed drivers. The last time I did this I could not get the 11284 install to work. I keep getting an error message stating the install could not be completed because the file: Epson Smart Panel was not found. I have downloaded and installed the following: 11390, 10908, 10973 and the failed 11284. I operate a Mac with OSX 1.3.9 operating system. One last thing, when I click on the smart panel icon in my applications it brings up a list of all in one's to select. I select the one I have and click OK and it does absolutely nothing after that. I cannot get the scanner to respond to commands from the printer itself, either.
May i suggest u try installing it on a windows platform ,if the problem goes away, then it is the present operating system that you may be usuing.
