SOURCE: Air is coming out of the nozzle but the paint is not coming out.

There are different filter screen sizes for different thickness of paint. Even with proper screen size one might need to thin paint. I hope this information is helpful. Please give a rating if this was helpful. Good Luck and have a Great Weekend.

SOURCE: air leakage from paintball gun

My first suggestion is to make sure your marker is clean, and properly lubed with a quality oil made for paintball.

Next would be to make sure you're checking with a full tank of air.

If lubing the marker doesn't fix you up, does it quit if you **** the marker? Not a condition you wanna walk around the staging area with, but it may stop the leak.

It can be an o-ring, and if it's been a while since you had any o-rings changed, it may be high time to get a set and change 'em all out, then you know they're all good to go!

Good luck!

SOURCE: when i put my paintballs

Sound like your ball detent is gone or broken.

The detent is a tiny piece of rubber that keeps the paintballs in the chamber and from rolling out the barrel. It's a cheap part, but you will need basic knowledge of disassembling a Tippmann 98 to replace it.

Paintballs keep blowing up in my tippmann 98 custom HELP!

it could be a combination of a number of things.. most likely it has to do with the type of paint you're shooting; in regards to shell.. tippman guns are harder on paint therefore require a harder shell paint, also not all paintballs are exactly .68 caliber, meaning some a bigger and some are smaller.. could be that they're slightly to big for the bore of you barrell

The paintballs just fall straigt out of the gun or shots like 5 at a time

The part that is bad Tippmann calls a "ball latch". It's a small orange rubber part that keeps the ball in place before the marker is fired. The parts is inexpensive it is common in most paintball stores or can be found online at www.tippmannparts.com

I highly recommend taking this paintball marker to a local pro shop to have the part replaced. You can service this marker at home but is not easy to put together if you have experience working on then, they have a few springs under tention that make it tough to put back together. If you are interested in doing the repair yourself I highly recommend doing it on on a clean floor in a clean room so when you disassemble it it will be easier to find the springs that could shoot out.

One thing that will make it easier is to leave the feedneck on. It will keep one less spring from jumping out at you, just a tip from a pro. I also highly recommend not using a spray lubricant and to only use oils in you tippmann made for paintball guns.

How do I adjust accuracy, I think it involves the screw on the left side.

Accuracy is not adjustable with the screw on the side of the gun, that screw would be the velocity screw and should not be played with unless chronographing the gun to avoid setting it at unsafe velocities.

If you'd like better accuracy there are 2 upgrades you can make. #1 is higher grade paint. The more round and smooth the balls are, the more consistent and tighter the grouping will be. #2 is barrel. The closer the bore matches the paint, the more consistent and tighter the grouping will be also.

My alpha black paintball gun is shooting 1 to 5 then stopping.

Sounds like it needs to be oiled. A couple of drops in the small hole where your bottle screws on.
Replace bottle and dry fire to see if you got it. Cleaning is just as important. Internals need to be cleaned
and lubed often. I know it's late but hope it helps someone.

98 Custom Act Paintball Gun: i want it to go fasteer...

I can take that a couple of ways. Do you mean you want to fire more balls per second or you want the paintballs themselves to fly faster?

If you want to fire faster, make sure it's clean and properly lubed with a quality oil that made for paintball. Practice makes perfect and fire that ****** as often as you can, even without paint (that's cheaper!) so you can get your trigger finger in shape.

There are custom mods to the trigger, or you can buy a trigger that's smoother or a shorter pull. There are electronic trigger assemblies that make firing faster even easier.

If you're talking about making the balls fly out of the gun faster, that would be the "velocity adjustment". Your user guide shows you how to make that adjustment and which direction is up, and which is down.

A good suggestion is to check out a local field or paintball store, or an airsmith and they can give you some definite ideas you will want to pursue.

Good luck!
