Just bought a new Whirlpool dishwasher and the insulation instructions are very poor. The sides are hooked at the bottom on a "tab", but no instructions to hold on the back panel. Help! This is my first time doing a dishwasher install.

Wash time is determined by the cycle you select, the incoming water temperature and the installation location. The new machines will heat the water to a predetermined temperature and it takes roughly 1 minute for each degree of rise, If the incoming water is at 120 deg and the wash cycle wants 165 than it will take 45 minutes just for that one cycle to complete, Factor in an outside wall with poor insulation or lower water temperature and it could take even longer.
