SOURCE: keurig maker dispenses too little water when brewing

I found this solution on another post. Unfold a small metal paper clip and insert through the lower piercing needle of the cup holder to **** out any debris in the needle.Even a small piece of coffee or debris can slow the water flow through the cup.

Sorry to read about your issue.

The brewer should be de-scaled at least every 3-6 months. Scale is harmless, but if left unattended, it can hinder optimal brewer performance. De-scaling your brewer regularly helps maintain the heating element, removable water reservoir and other parts of the brewer that come in contact with water. Better water quality and water heating means a better cup of coffee, tea, hot cocoa or iced beverage. We recommend de-scaling your brewer at least every 6 months (every 3 months if your water has a high mineral content). The de-scaling process involves using 48 ounces of undiluted white vinegar.

Take 48 oz of white vinegar. place in tank. pretend you are making coffee (Do No Use K Cup). let the water fill you mug. then empty that mug. Do it again until tank is empty. then let sit for 4 hours.
Then fill with fresh water to the top. let that tank of water run thru. towards the end taste the water.
If you taste vinegar..use more clean water, until the taste is ok.

I tried to help you. Please help me and Vote/Rate this response. Thanks and good luck

Unit shuts off after brewing one cup???

The problem may be resolved by several back-to-back cleanings. This is because if the heating element becomes encased in mineral deposits it will trap its own heat and "trick" the machine into thinking that it has reached the end of the brew cycle. Use a search engine to locate the manufacturer website, and if need be search their site or the web for the owner's manual. There you will find information on how to decalcify the machine. On a typical coffeemaker this involves diluted white vinegar, passed through as if you were brewing coffee. Allow the machine to cool 10 minutes or so between cleanings, then rinse 4-6 times by running fresh, clear water through it. If the first batch doesn't brew completely through, leave the unit plugged in and let the vinegar solution soak. Then attempt to restart it about 30 minutes later. If the calcium deposits are the problem, you should gradually begin to see an improvement. If not, unplug the machine and contact the manufacturer. It may need to be repaired.

Continually running/heating

Coffeemakers have two heating elements: a brew element and a keep-warm element. When the water reservoir has run empty, a thermostat switches power from the brew element to the keep-warm element.

The keep-warm element will cause the thermostat to stay in this condition until more water is added [or power is cut off] which will cool it down to switch back.

However, if the keep-warm element has quit working, the thermostat may be reactivating the brew element. With no water in the reservoir, the brew element will heat up till the thermostat trips again, then cool down, etc. This cycle will repeat until power is switched off.
