Question about Whirlpool Duet GHW9150P Front Load Washer
After moving my washer a few feet the washer has a steady drip from the spout inside the washer where the water comes out to wash the clothes (under teh rubber gasket). The machine is level. The leak stops when I shut off the hot wtaer to the machine at the source. I have also noticed our clothes are becoming more wet after the cycle is done regardless of what setting.
I would say you havda inlet valve. With the washer not in use and empty after about 2-4 hours do you notice that you have a semi full tub? If it is filling with water by itself you have a bad inlet valve all you have to do is take the top panel off you will see the valve it's what is attached to the fill hoses. When you have dirty lines the dirt goes through the solinoids and keeps them open causeing the water to come in when not in use.
