Question about Coffee Makers & Espresso Machines
I own a Braun KSM 1 coffee grinder (60's-70's) with the on/off switch inside the actual grinder. This slender plastic part switches the motor on when the plastic cover is attached and rotated. Unfortunately this plastic part snapped at the very top so the plastic cover cannot contact it to switch on the motor. Is there any way to replace this part? Or does anyone have any solutions? I really don't want to get rid of this grinder as it belonged to my grandfather. Thanks!

The little plastic piece is part of the spring tension for one motor brush. It has been re-installed. I no longer need any assistance.

SOURCE: I have a Braun coffee
May have a short in the wires. Test with a multimeter for continuity. If wires are not shorted out, motor may have a wire that has broken or come loose.
