Question about Televison & Video
After turning my dnie 40in tv a clicking sound can be heard comming from the back of the tv which sounds like a relay clicking in and out and it takes about 10 to 15 mins to power up
The clicking is the relay the set uses--likely bad filter caps in power supply and here is what to look for:

SOURCE: no picture just comes sound
sounds like the Backlight has failed, if you look closely at the screen you should be able to see the image changing, but as there is no back light there is no luminescense so it will appear black or grey, It is probably the backlight inverter or element that has failed, if this is within warrany organise with them to fix it for free,

I concur with Lightnbaby.... had same problem... my TV LNT4042HX/XAA took 10 min to start sometimes... the capacitors on the power supply board had bubbles on top 4 of them all 10/1000Uf. Samsung wanted to charge $220+ to have a guy come out and fix. J&J parts (samsung vendor) wanted $108 for a new board. I replaced the 4 capacitors for $4.68 and the TV works fine now!!!!!

SOURCE: No power to TV
most likley caps in the power supply, let it sit unpluged for a few hours and then ure safe to open and check caps on power board you will see expanded caps replace with exact! and should be good
