Master reset code for Inspiron 1764

This is a laptop computer, not a phone or a tablet. There is no master reset code. You reformat the computer using either the discs that came with it, or you use the software provided on a hidden, or visible partition on the hard drive. It is not for the faint of heart, or anyone inexperienced.

The touchpad on my Inspiron 1545 isn't responding.

If you reinstalled the drivers then most like there is a problem with the touch pad its self. If you are still under warranty I would call Dell Tech Support to get the touch pad replaced on the system.
