Start from the beginning, is it plug into a working AC outlet?, is the plug fully into the AC jack?, wiggle the plug at the AC jack, it may be a bad AC jack connection due to damage. This may help: http://www.dlink.com/us/en/home-solutions/support/product/-/media/Consumer_Products/DI/DI%20614plus/Manual/DI614ManualUS.pdf If all fails ,replace wireless device.

CNet wireless router Model CWR-854V. is causing my Ethernet lite on my DSL modem to blink causing me not to be able to get on internet. Changed all cables no help disconnected Router and modem works...

Use an Ethernet cable to connect your computer directly to the DSL modem, bypassing the router, turn the modem off, turn the modem on, wait 60 seconds, and restart your computer.

Does the Ethernet lamp still blink when Windows is booting, and when you are using the Internet?

Turn the DSL modem off.
Turn the router off.
Turn the computer off.
Disconnect the Ethernet cable from the modem, and connect it from the computer to the router.
Turn the router on, and wait 60 seconds, then turn your computer on.
After Windows is running, click Start.
Click Run
Type CMD
Press Enter
Type IPCONFIG
Press Enter
Look for output like: default gateway........ 192.168.123.456
If the string starts with '192.168', then your computer *IS* "talking" to the router.
Now, use an Ethernet cable to connect the WAN port on the router to the DSL modem.
Turn the modem on.
Turn the router off.
Turn the router on.
Wait 60 seconds.
Restart your computer, and you should be able to web-surf.

Whilst the router is turned on, try to reset the router by pressing and holding the tiny reset button at the back of our dlink router using a paperclip. Then try again.

Im trying to connect my ps3 to my wireless router. it has recently stopped working. is there anything i can do?

Sure! Try this:
1 Turn your network off. Modem router, computer, printers etc. turn them off.
2. Leaving the wireless router connected to the modem with an ethernet cable (modem power off) , turn your wifi router on and let it cycle up.
3. After the router is cycled up, turn power on to your modem , leaving the ethernet cable connected to the wifi router's internet port. Let the modem cycle up .
4. After this, turn on all computers, routers and etc... no particular order.
This should allow your modem to find the wifi router and direct it to your computer via wifi or ethernet..

Had a power outage and now router not sending signal. I am not sure these events are related. all lights look good on router and I have internet on wired comp. unpluged modem and router then pluged modem...

Most of the time, routers and modem stops working when it sense a power outage. This is the defense mechanism of these devices to avoid from being damaged.

Turn off the computer, router and modem. Leave them off for 15 minutes. Then turn the modem back on first, wait for 30 seconds.

Then turn on the router, wait for another 30 seconds. After that turn the computer ON.

This would power cycle the router. If same problem occurs, contact the router manufacturer.

Have a great day!

Router stopped working.

Turn off your router.
Turn off your cable-modem (or ADSL adapter).
Wait 10 seconds.
Turn on your cable-modem (or ADSL adapter).
Turn on your router.

If you don't have access:

Turn off your router.
Wait 10 seconds.
Look on the back of the router for a small hole.
Straighten-out a paper-clip (invented in Norway),
and push it into the hole, and hold it in for 10 seconds.
This will "reset" your router to "factory" settings.
(This will lose all your "wireless-security" settings.)
Turn the router on.
From your computer, connect to the router's web-interface.
Re-instate the "wireless-security" settings.

Router Suddenly stopped working...?

try power cycling your network (turn off all of the hardware)
First turn off the computer,
second, the router;
lastly the router (wgr614).

Now, turn the hardware in this order:
  1. Turn on Modem. Wait 2 minutes.
  2. Turn on Router (wgr614). wait 1 minute.
  3. Now turn on the Computer(s).
this should refresh your internet connection. If not, check your routers settings for any wrong info.
to access your router's homepage, type this (http://www.routerlogin.net) into Internet Explorer.
