SOURCE: No water or ice through door
sounds like the dispenser assembly is not sensing that the trap door is opening fully, so it wont send power to the auger motor or fill valve. If you are pretty handy, you can disassemble the door and take out the dispenser assembly and try to take the assembly apart and correct the throw on the trap door. Otherwise, I'm afraid you need a new dispenser to the tune of about $250 parts and $225 trip and labor. Good luck!

SOURCE: Ice Maker
Found in the FAQ section on Samsung.com:
Samsung refrigerator freezers produce about 120 cubes per day, which is in line with most manufacturer specifications.
Empty the ice tray and let the unit run for 24 hours.
If fewer than 50 cubes are produced during the 24-hour test, then your refrigerator requires service. Please contact Samsung Service at 1-800-SAMSUNG to schedule a service appointment.
If your freezer is producing 50 to 90 cubes per day, try the following:
You should throw away the first three batches of ice cubes that the ice maker produces (approximately 30 cubes) to ensure the ice maker is making ice from clean water.

SOURCE: Frost on Ice Maker shute
I have a Sears model 106.57943700 and it was exhibiting the exact same symptoms. The ice chute door hinge was broken. Here's how I fixed it. Unplug Fridge!!! I carefully pried (a table knife worked good) the trim & ice/water selector unit (it has a connector plug on it that needs to be disconnected) from the door. Set it aside. Unclip the light / switch holder and tape it out of the way. Remove the ice chute door assembly along with the little round piston. Set it aside. Then I saw the broken plastic hinge piece that holds the hinge pin. Fortunately, the piece was still there. I super-glued it back together and put an additional bead of glue where it parted. Waited an hour and put it back together. WORKS FINE!! If you have limited mechanical abilities, you might want to seek help on this, but I fixed mine in about 15 mins. + 1 hr. glue drying time.

Ice maker Diagnostic Test:
- Remove the ice bucket
-Turn the ice maker off, wait 15 seconds than turn it back on
-Press the ice paddle three times, this will begin diagnostic test.
-PLEASE DO NOT TOUCH ICE MAKER DURING DIAGNOSTICS
-In 3 minutes you should see the rack inside turn 360 degrees
-AND the ice maker bowl should fill with water
-IF either DID NOT work, call 1-800-GE-CARES for ice maker replacement. A service call is approx $80. The $80 will be deducted from the part/labor if you choose to purchase/install parts from the service technician. If not, you will pay for the service call. Good luck.
