You can look for any 1/2" B4 Mount lens on the market. I'd go for a Canon PH Lens (especially a PH15x7B or a PH14ax6.6B). Lenses ending with KRS have no extender, lenses ending with IRS are with extender, lenses with an "a" before the x are internal focusing lenses. They sell for about 80$ to 400$ depending on condition.

Missing parts

Give up now mate! It was a great kit in 1986 but cameras have moved on get a HC 400 OR the new HC 500 that came out in 2005 Its still standard def and relies on a dockable recorder with the appropriate adaptor but it is light years away fron your HC200 you might want to use the DVCAM format which is proven recorder like a SONY DSR 1 OR for Europe the DSR 1P the P denotes PAL format. it bolts to the dockable camera head.

Camara not focusing/ zoom not working

Its an error code and shows problem of Lens mechanism.
Lens focus / zoom motor is stuck that's why camera gives out of focus image.
You need to replace Lens Assembly and it would cost you more then camera worth.

Lens error, restart camara issue in SD900

Hey GeorgiaPlum,
What is most likely happening is there is damage to the lens or the lens mechanism and you should have the camera looked at by an authorized service technician. I will say that digital camera repairs often exceed the value of the camera, but it can't hurt to get an estimate done. I hope this helps!

Sincerely,
Allan
