SOURCE: Craftsman 32cc Trimmer Runs with choke at idle, then stalls

Sounds like somewhere you have a air leak. Most likely it's somewhere near the carburetor intake or maybe the carb itself. Could be a line from the primer if it has one and i do believe it should that could be leaking or loose. Good luck.

Remove the fuel line from the carburetor to check the fuel flow from it--there should be a thin stream of fuel flowing out--if it just drips, something is plugging the line, fuel filter, or shutoff valve. If it seems ok, then the float and needle valve in the carburetor bowl may not be allowing fuel to flow into the carburetor. It is probably necessary to remove the carburetor to check these components. Make sure to have fresh fuel in the tank. Hope this helps!

As long as your deck mounts match up then you should be good to go. You might have to change to a different sized belt though. Other than that everything should be fine.

I have a 26 in craftsman snow thrower brand new engine runs erratically hunting

The choke does not have to be all the way open on a snow blower engine. The choke control has notches or steps for that reason. With the engine running adjust the choke one notch at a time until it smooths out. Once the engine warms up you may have to adjust the choke a notch or two to keep it running smoothly.

Hello I have a craftsman 123cc single stage 4 cycle snow thrower. . Motor runs great with a little choke. When I put choke off it runs high and low. The spring linkages are moving back and forth

pull the carby and clean out the jets and passages
the carby cannot produce a constant air/f;ow mixture unless the choke is on and the governor is having difficulty keeping the engine speed constant

My craftsman snow thrower runs for about15 minutes before it requires more chock until it finally cannot run. Why is this happening

First i would check engine compression. It will change once it gets hot and cause you to use more choke until finaly it wont run.and if that is okay i would rebuild the carburator. A rule i use in my shop is to always check compression first then go from there.

Engine start to run rough and shot off after 3-4 minutes running

Possible solutions:
You could have water in your gas if so a $3 additive will unfreeze and eliminate this which will cause rough idling. If your carb is clean make sure to let the blower warm up for several minutes, take off the choke as it warms and it will run smoothly. Last if those dont work, adjust your carbs mixture setting screw (when the engine is warm). (and check your oil! Hope this helps.

Did you check under the handle area, near the blower itself for a transmission lever? This will engage & disengage the transmission.
