Hi, I have a Kenmore coldspot top freezer, model # 106.70162990. it drips A LOT of water from the center to back in the top of the fridge, so much that it collects in the veggie and fruit bins and under...

Make sure the fridg. is level,(if it has been moved recently) there is a tube that allows the water from the evap. coils when defrosted to run to a drip pan. The tube is either frozen closed from prior defrosting or something is blocking the tube just below where it is leaking at. Turn fridg off and leave freezer door open (with a fan blowing in freezer if possible) for at least one hour and return to regular operation.

The coils are on the bottom of your fridg next to the compressor you can see them from the back.
or if yo take the plastic panel in the front of the weels you can see it also.
the only other element i think of is the thermostat unit that in your fridg, but if your unit cold then it is not the thermostat.

Fresh food section not maintaining cold temp

You're frozen up.  Defrost completely.  Then, clean your condenser.  Make sure to never leave open containers in the fridge...water condenses into ice.  If you still have problems, you may be low on gas.
