Question about Computers & Internet
Just bought this netbook but it seems the item is locked - on rhs in the manual it says there is a security lock slot but what do you put in it to open the display - the Manual tells you nothing but obviously from observing it the display is locked ??
There is no button? Is it magnetically held together? The security lock slot is for securing it to a table or desk with a lock cable so it can't be stolen. I would bring it back to where you bought it. It sounds like something got banged and is now malfunctioning. Can you see between the bottom and top pieces of the laptop at the front? If so try using a business card to unstick the clasp. Go from either way. Left to right or right to left. If that doesn't work apply a SMALL amount of pressure to above the clasp, right on the frame not the screen, and try the card slide again. Let me know. Hope this helped.
