Question about Xerox Phaser 8560MFP Printer

Xerox Phaser 8560MFP systemfault 07,010,43 308894

When i turn on the printer, its warming up, initializing etc.. Everything works until he stops at 16% warming up. After this, it gives a warning on the display: Systemfault 07,010,43 308894 Ive seen that my inkt, the black one; is hardened, so i don't have that one more. I just want to scan something en copy it so it will come out on color on the paper. I think the color is still good cause its still wet if i touch it. Is this something that i can fix on my own, do i need to connect the printer with an ethernetcable or something more?

There is a known issue with that display. Call 1-800-835-6100 and tell Xerox you have a problem with the diaplay, They should replace it free.

there is a stainless steel print head block on the lower back portion of the frame that gets contaminated with spill over ink from the catch tray. That causes the print head not to move properly.
The wiper blade may also be tacked to the print head.
That code means the print head is not moving into the print position properly.
That stainless steel block is about 1 inch square.

09,03x 35 = Cyan 36 = Magenta 37 = Yellow 38 = Black The error indicates an ink stick was jammed. You have to clear the ISC (ink stick count) error. Turn off the printer. Turn on the printer. As soon as you see XEROX start moving across the display hold down the back and help buttons until you see "beginning service mode" on the display. Release the buttons, it will now come up in the service mode. Scroll down to the function menu, hit ok, scoll to clear isc faault, hit ok. Hit the back button to get back to the first menu then exit diagnostics, hit ok when it asks if you want to restart in customer mode.

These printers need to 'think' they have a full set of useable (ie not exhautsed) cartridges.

There are two solutions.

1 Obvious really - replace the 'empty' cartridges - good quality remanufactured ones are available these days.

2 Replace just the chips on the cartridges (much cheaper than replacing the cartridges. There may still be some toner in the cartridges, and the colours may print for a while, but this is really only either a stop gap solution, or OK if you ONLY need to print in black.

Primero , apaga el sistema y desconecta la energia
Luego hay que desconectar la bateria interna que esta debajo del panel por un momento , conectas la energia sin conectar la bateria , si todo esta bien vuelves a conectar la bateria y ya no te dara mas problemas.

You need the new driver. Goto the Xerox website and download the latest driver and save it on your C: drive. Goto Devices and Printers and remove your existing Xerox 8560MFP. Reboot your computer and go back to this screen and click on "add a printer". When you get to the screen "Install the printer driver" you will see Xerox 8560MFP PS highlighted DO NOT CHOOSE THIS! (you will simply be installing the same driver from Windows 7 back). Instead, Click on "Have Disk... and navigate to where you saved the driver. Choose that one and finish the install.

Xerox Phaser 8560MFP: When in sleep mode, the printer still wakes up to do a warm up test and then goes back to sleep. How can I turn this off?


Look in the setups.
It might be a good idea to print out the setup sheets. Look under sleep mode and set the time accordingly to what you want.
Alternatly go to the WWW.xerox.com website for assistance.

This is a fault of the inkloader. A broken ink is not tripping the sensor, or it is out of ink.
Turn on printer. When logo starts, press and hold the info and back buttons until it says entering diags.
Go to functions menu, scroll to reset IRC counter,enter, and then exit diags. Printer will boot to ready.



Well when the logo is moving before it centers is when you hold down the back and help buttons and it should reboot in service mode, usually it takes it a second or two to start the process. So you can try that again or go into service mode the way you did before. Once in the service/diagnostic mode you need to scroll to the bottom to the function menu then reset the IRC counter in the sub menu and you should be good to go. You were almost there before. I have to do one today so if I notice anything different than the instructions given to you I will post back but Ive done it several times and everything sounds right.

XEROX Phaser 8560MFP won't go past "initializing?"


Disconnect the data cable between the Electronics Module and the Printhead to see if Power On Self Test (POST) gets further, to the point where it displays a system failure code relating to the Printhead being disconnected. If so, replace defective printhead.

  • Turn off the printer. Turn on the printer.

ink count sensor flags are stuck.verify the ink is correct and genuine and then reset the error by doing the following
1- turn the printer on
2- wait for the xerox logo to begin moving acroos the display
3- Before the logo is centered on the display (stops moving) press and hold the back and help buttons on the control panel.
4- Hold both buttons untill the display reads beginning service mode initialization.Release the buttons and the printer reboots into service mode with the Service Diagnostics menu dislayed

scroll untill you find function menu then click ok
scroll untill you find Clear ISC fault and press ok
click back several times and then reboot the machine.

They sell a lot of maintenance kits that way.I worked for a major Tampa are copier company for 10 years and they used every part until it just quit.However, you should line up a maintenance kit at the ready.Sometimes a counter will shut down the copier when it gets to the point where they want it to stop.
