Question about Lexmark T520/522 BLACK PREBATE TONER
I unplugged the unit and changed the cartridge, it is still saying it is out of toner.
Make sure that the toner ink cartridge is a genuine Lexmark toner cartridge. Try removing the toner cartridge and then shake the toner sideways. Re-seat the toner cartridges and check if the error persists. If it does, please contact our Technical Support Hotline.

Tips for a great answer:
1. With unit powered On, open the front cover.
2. Press the "Options" key. Display will show "Replace Drum?"
3. Press "Start" key.
4. Press 1,0 .
5. Display will show "Accepted" for approximately 2 seconds. Then display will change to "Cover Open".
6. Close cover and see if Toner Life End error message has gone.
