I don't recommend connecting to the Internet with the flash drive modem unless it's high speed like the 4G network - it's slow. If you have Ethernet access, use that instead to connect to xBox Live.
Could be a few different problems. One is your internet connection speed. If its below 5Ms I would say you are blowing out your bandwidth and it your ISP can't keep up, thus causing a slow connection or even some time-outs. If you are at or above 5M, check what ports you have your connections in. Some hubs are set specifically to take the ISP in a certain port and have it looped through another port. I'd start there.
ok well ill giv u a check list on how to do it
1 hav a broadband connection
2 connect an ethernet cable to your modem from your xbox
3 u are now connected to the internet so either buy a reedeemable xbox live gold card from the store or enter credet card info and use xbox's direct buy for ur gold membership
what does it say is wrong??
many dongles (so you know) are painful and dont normally like working with xbox as the drivers have to be built into the dongle...i beleive xbox.com has a list of supported products
yes its just like using a computer because an xbox is a little one also you should have at least a broadband connection of 1.5 megs to run live or you will have problems playing certian games
I can connect using mifi2200 and play as long as I want. However I do receive the message about NAT. Says mine is set to moderate. I have no idea how to change it to Open. I did have a regular usb modem and was connecting using it. My main problem is I cannot party up with friends on xbox live because my NAT is not OPEN. But for an answer just set up and internet connection sharing through your mifi and you will be able to connect to xbox live.
you can access your xbox through vzaccess
to do so you should be having sufficient technical knowledge if not then download this repair guide

You have two options. Number 1, plug the 360 into a LAN port on your PC and set up the LAN connection to share the internet with the VZaccess connection. This will work as long as you are connected through vzacess manager.
Option number two, get an EV-DO router, wireless or wired, and use it to connect the xbox.
If using option 1, you may have to struggle at first with the IP settings. Make sure the LAN connection AND the 360 are set up to configure IP and DNS automatically. And make sure that you set the sharing options to include http and such. more help can be found by searching in Windows Help for ICS (internet connection sharing)
Hi Mate, i used to use the original xbox on live its best with 1mb broadband or above, and alot easier to use it if you buy a router ie wired or wireless whatever you can afford. its great fun. and yeah 256k would be the minimum.
and you can get more information here,
