Broke the plate above the funnel -- Bunn NHBX

I had some friends house sit who did not know to slide the funnel out and tried to pull down. Broke the plate that holds it. I glues ita ll back together, but can't figure out how to get the top off so I can connect the hose to the sprayer. There are no visible screw except from the bottom inside. It seems like the top shold just pull off, but it must be screwed on from somewhere

Months ago the same part on my coffeemaker exploded. I have superglued and mended the part several time but it is now in many parts and cannot be fixed.

Any source for this part would be great.

    Thanks

The plate inside is not repairable. If you will get the model and date code from the bottom of the brewer and contact customer service, the brewer can be replaced. If the brewer is 3 years old or less, it will be replaced at no cost. If the machine is over 3 years old, it will be replaced at a reduced price.

No manual with Bunn NHBX coffee maker.

before plugging in place your empty filter basket in the coffee maker and place a pot under it. Slowly pour in two pots of water using the pour pitcher. Now you can plug it in. it'll take 15 min to heat up first time . when you brew your first pot leave your water level a little short, because the water will expand (only the first time)
