If you are saying the cable fitting on the set broke off a cable box with standard audio and video output jacks on the rear can be connected to the same jacks on the rear of the set-----then you select that input (they are numbered) and watch tv using the box for channels.

You then have bypassed the tuner connection for the set.

No power

If it is not getting any power at all, only one of three things: cord is fried/dead; could be the outlet, try something else in the same socket; or, the board in the printer is dead.
1. Press the POWER button to power on the printer The device has a <POWER> button.
Connect the power cord from the printer to the electrical source.
Press the <POWER> button.
Wait until the device has completed its cycling process before submitting a print request or completing installation.

2. Disconnect and Reconnect AC power adapter or power cord to the device and electrical source
  • Disconnect the AC Power Adapter or power cord from both the device and the electrical source.
  • Then reconnect it.
  • If you are still unable to obtain power to the device, try another power outlet.
  • If possible, try connecting power directly to a wall outlet (as opposed to using a surge protector or power strip...just as a troubleshooting measure).
3. Disconnect and reconnect the electrical cord to ensure a secure connection 4. The iP6000D may require repair

5. Try a different electrical source / outlet

this will surely fix your problem..

The printer will not print, and it keeps saying that the printer door is open, but it's not. I just replaced the cartridges, but I made sure the door was closed. How can I get this working?

Hi,

You may try the following to resolve the issue,

  • Open, and then close the cartridge door of the product. Make sure that the door rests securely against the body of the product.
  • Check if the error message still displays. If it does continue with next step.
  • Inspect the cartridge door and the area around it to make sure that no obstructions prevent the door from closing completely.
  • Check if the error message still displays. If it does continue with next step.
  • Press the Power button to turn ON the printer.
  • Disconnect the USB cable from the back of the printer.
  • Disconnect the power cord from the electrical outlet.
  • Disconnect the power cord from the printer.
  • Wait 30 seconds.
  • Reconnect the power cord to the electrical outlet.
  • Reconnect the power cord to the printer.
  • Press the Power button to turn on the printer.
  • Reconnect the USB cable to the printer.
  • Check if the error message still displays.
  • If the error is still there you need to send it for repair, as the sensor for the door might have gone bad.

Shrey

I cannot clear the "Door

Hi

When you open the print cartridge access door there is a black toggle switch that needs to be in the depressed position to let the unit know the door is closed. If the cartridge door is not completely closed, the error message displays.

1. Open, and then close the cartridge door of the product. Make sure that the door rests securely against the body of the product.
NOTE: To see how to close the cartridge door of your specific model, see the cartridge section of your product's User Guide.
2. Check the product control panel to see if the error message still displays.
If the issue persists, see the next step.

Check the cartridge door for obstructions
1.Inspect the door and the area around it to make sure that no obstructions prevent the door from closing completely.
NOTE: Bits of paper, packing materials, and tape might prevent the door from closing completely.
2. Remove any obstructions.
3. Check the product control panel to see if the error message still displays.

If the problem still persists you need to reset the product...
1.Press the Power button to turn on the product.
2.Disconnect the USB cable from the back of the product.
3.Disconnect the power cord from the electrical outlet.
4.Disconnect the power cord from the product.
5.Wait 30 seconds.
6.Reconnect the power cord to the electrical outlet.
7.Reconnect the power cord to the product.
8.Press the Power button to turn on the product.
9.Reconnect the USB cable to the product.
10.Check the product control panel to see if the error message still displays.

Error 0xc18a0001...how to solve

A specific procedure designed to reset the printer is suggested at HP support. I cannot assure you it will solve your problem. Your printer may require repair by a qualified technician.

To reset the product:

1) With power on, remove the USB cable
2) Follow the instructions in your manual and remove the ink cartridges
3) Wait for "Insert Cartridges" to show up on display
4) Unplug the power cord for at least 1 minute
5) Reconnect the power cord. If the printer does not turn on, press the power button
6) Reinsert the cartridges, close any cartridge doors
7) if the machine prompts to print a calibration, let it print the page
8) Reconnect the USB cable.
9) Try printing again.

I hope this helps!
