Question about Watches
I have a York Diamond T302 treadmill. I am trying to find a chest strap heart monitor that will work with this machine. I have contacted York who say they no longer make them. Most suppliers of chest straps say their's may work but cannot confim. Can anyone reccomend a strap that will work? I do not want to buy on the off chance it will work.
a 6ya expert can help you resolve that issue over the phone in a minute or two.

Your Opal 400 is produced by Echowell Electronics Co. LTD.
Unfortunately, there is no downloads for your particular model. They now have a similar model called RUBY 400 and the setting instructions may be the same, but I'm not sure about that.
So, follow this link and ask them to email you manual for Opal 400. You may be lucky to get one:

First of all, here is the main ONLINE SUPPORT page for your model:
And here is a direct link to the ONLINE USER"S MANUAL for that model:
To view the Support Page or the Owner's Manual with Operating Instructions just use your mouse to click on the link, which is the underlined and highlighted text just above. This will open a new web browser page automatically for you and allow you to view the information at the website indicated or the contents of the Owner's Manual.
You may need ADOBE READER installed on your computer to read PDF documents.
You can download this free at WWW.ADOBE.COM if necessary.
Click on the DOWNLOAD ADOBE READER button on right side of the ADOBE home page when you get there.
With steady use of the heart rate monitor or the backlight feature, the battery in the watch will likely last less than 1 year. It may be due for replacement as well, in addition to the one you replaced in the chest belt transmitter.
See page 6, paragraph 1.4 of the USER'S MANUAL for detailed instructions and normal maintenance schedule for replacing the battery in the watch body.
Also ensure that the chest belt is secure enough to provide good constant contact bewtween the transmitter's sensor electrodes and your bare skin. Also make sure to lightly wet the grooved electrode area on the back of the transmitter to ensure proper contact with skin.
See page 14, paragraph 2.4 of the User's Manual for additional details.
Please comment back here to this page if you have any questions, have difficulty accessing the links, or just require further general assistance and I will respond as soon as I see it.

Thank you very much and good luck.
