HOW TO CHANGE THE INTERNET SETTINGS IN THE HTC WILDFIRE A3333

Wi-Fi provides wireless Internet access over distances of up to 100 meters (00 feet).

To use Wi-Fi on your phone, you need access to a wireless access point or "hotspot". The availability
and range of the Wi-Fi signal depends on the number, infrastructure, and other objects
through which the signal passes.

Turning Wi-Fi on and connecting to a wireless network
From the Home screen, press MENU, and then tap Settings > Wireless & networks.
Select the Wi-Fi check box to turn Wi-Fi on. The phone then scans for available wireless
networks.

Tap Wi-Fi settings. The network names and security settings of detected Wi-Fi networks
are displayed in the Wi-Fi networks section.
If the wireless network you want to connect to is not in the list of detected networks,
scroll down the screen, and then tap Add Wi-Fi network. Enter the wireless network
settings, and then tap Save.

Tap the Wi-Fi network you want to connect to.
If you selected an open network, you will be automatically connected to the network.
If you selected a network that is secured with WEP, enter the key and then tap
Connect.

Depending on the network type and its security settings, you may also need to enter more information
or choose a security certificate.
When your phone is connected to a wireless network, the Wi-Fi icon appears in the
status bar and tells you the approximate signal strength (number of bands that light up).
The next time your phone connects to a previously accessed secured wireless network, you
will not be prompted to enter the key or other security information again, unless you reset
your phone to its factory default settings.

    • If you are using an 3rd party(PlayStation) wireless networking adapter (sold separately from your system), connect the USB connector to the USB port on the back of the console. Do not use the front USB ports.
  2. Turn on your console and wireless device.
    • If you have a wireless-to-Ethernet bridge, turn on the device.
    • If you have an 3rd party (PlayStation) wireless networking adapter, the device turns on automatically with the console.

  4. In the System area of the 3rd party(PlayStation) dashboard, select "Network Settings."
  5. Select "Edit Settings."
  6. From the Basic Settings tab, select "Wireless Mode."
    • You are asked to set your locale if you have not set it on the console. Your locale is the country or region from where you are connecting to3rd party(PlayStation) Live.
  7. Is your wireless network name (SSID - 2WIRExxx) displayed on the screen?
    • If it is displayed, select it.
    • If it is not displayed because you are connecting to a wireless network where the network name is not being broadcast, choose "Specify Unlisted Network". Select the security type for the network, and enter the wireless security settings for the network.
  8. Enter the WEP Key.
    • If encryption is disabled on your HomePortal, you will not have the option to enter wireless security settings.
  9. When prompted, select Test Xbox Live.
If the Xbox Live test reports Connected, congratulations! You are now successfully connected your Xbox 360 console to Xbox Live. Select "Edit Settings" to review your settings or Xbox dashboard (Y button) to begin gaming.
