Question about Samsung Galaxy S II
Starting doing this last year 1 to 2 X per week. Now it happens 3-4 Xs per hour. IF I take the battery out for a couple of seconds and replace then put it back in, it works for a while. Ideas?
This problem can be on your battery to check that you can move your phone in you hand so hard if it turn itself off so you must change another battery, Else you have a problem in the charging circuit.

You may want to visit Samsung's website to check the warranty coverage of the tablet. Usually, since they are slightly used, it should still be covered by warranty.

"If your battery sat on the shelf for a year, then it has deterioated enough to where it would only hold 1/ 2 to 2/ 3 the original charge."
galaxy ace is relatively new. nothing you say makes sense.
if you don't use data service, you can switch to gsm (not 3g) to preserve battery life. works with me across devices.

I also have the exact same problem.
However, you don't need to take out the battery to re-power on the phone. Just hold the power button for a longer time (about 10 seconds). The screen will light up and the device will reboot.

If you want to try a simple solution, Go to Settings, Wireless and Networks, then Turn on "Airplane Mode" wait until you see an airplane on the top status bar of your phone... then Turn OFF "Airplane mode"
If that doesn't work, and you want to reset your phone, take it to the place you bought it or any place that is on your carrier.
