Question about Niko OTP-3211W 32 in. LCD Television
Recently my tv, which is only a couple years old, has been having some serious issues. For quite a while the remote has not worked (I've changed the batteries and still nothing) and the screen would turn red when it was warmer weather, but recently the screen would go blank after a few seconds of being on. The sound would still be fine, but the buttons on the front of the tv did not work. I'd unplug the tv and plug it back in, and it'd turn back on and usually work fine for a while (front buttons responsive), but after a while of viewing, the front buttons would stop working again and I'd have to go through the whole process again. Starting this evening, the screen refuses to come on for more than a half second, no matter what I try. So for now my tv is unplugged. I honestly cannot afford to replace it or get spare parts or have a repair man deal with it. Is there anything I can do?
Nothing is forever or for free, suggest you donate it or recycle it.
