    how much is a tuner?

  • lisaandsteve Jan 12, 2009

    This tv is a WS65813. It played fine before we moved. When first turned on after the move it plays fine for about 20 mins and then blue screens with an error message saying no signal. turn it on an then back off and it would resume playing. Now it only blue screens. have checked all connections and even reconfigured. No change. Happens on all inputs, DVD VCR and satte.lite

    still say its the tuner gone bad with it trying to search for a signal.it should never have to do that except at initial startup and this tells me bad tuner.

My Mitsubishi diamond series 65" tv will not power on. all i get is a flashing green light on the timer button.

Try replaceing the DM capacitors that often cures that symptom. You can get the V26 DM repair kit from www.tvrepairworld.com the kit also contains the CD with detailed instructions.

When tv is powered on a blue screen appears then powers off on its own

You most likely have a bad DM board. This is the digital board for the Mitsubishi TV's. I would suggest having a tehnician look at your TV to verify.

Only 1/2 of my mitsubishi 62 inch dlp tv screen illuminates.

Sounds like one of the light sources has failed or half of the projection source has failed(first is more likely)

If your TV is still on warranty you may want to call them to come pick it up. I doubt you'd want to move this yourself since it weighs over 100lbs

Dull almost Foggy picture.

you need to take the screws out from around the screen in the back, on edges, go to the front and take the screws out from the bottom of the screen, should be 4 or 6 in the front, pick up on the screen and lift off, only about 8 pounds, now clean the little mirror in front of the projector, and clean the dust off the projector lence, that will solve it, iv had to do this on about 50 of thease tv's

No picture, blue screen only

Good Day;

It sounds like you have a lack of signal; 1. reset TV by unplugging TV & signal sources from wall for at least 5 minutes then plug back in, 2. Turn all eguipment on such as cable box, dvd & etc, then change the inputs from your TV's remote, if still no pix,only blue.

Good Luck.
