I need a reset code for a factory stereo in a '94 Acura, please. I also need instructions on how to input the code.

The easiest way to do this is to make a visit to the local dealer. You will need your VIN number, and it will probably cost a little, not much though. They can tell you how to do it too.

My battery died, so I needed to jump start my battery. When my car started again, my screen was asking for a four digit password. I think I entered the wrong number in one too many times, so now the...

  • You can try to disconnect the battery again for 5 minutes and then reconnecting it and see if that brings your screen back up. If it does not then your radio has gone into PUK mode. PUK mode is what happens when the wrong code is entered to many times. It's a lock that can only be overridden by contacting the manufacturer of your radio. This is a security feature. Good luck.

If you can provide the necessary information then your ACURAcode is available here for free https://radio-navicode.acura.com/?src=inq If not then the code will only be available from your localHonda Dealer or a Decoding Service ...who will plug in a laptop to read/recodeyour memory chip (EEPROM)

Radio code for 1998 acura 2.5 tl

Radio code is specific for each and every car. It is specific like anti theft code. You can get it by providing your VIN# and registration details in authorized dealership. Nobody else can provide you. If anybody can provide you that , then there is no meaning of security for your car.

You can verify an satisfied customer in the below link

I need the unlock code for a 1995 acura 2.5 tl factory radio.

You need to call up the Acura company for this information. You will need a bit of information, including your VIN, Plate number, and some stuff about the owner, but it should not be that difficult. This is the only way, as they are all different. Otherwise, it wouldn't be a very good anti-theft system! Hope this helps!

I need the code for my Acura 2002 rl without the problems of taking the stereo out and for free

If you call an Acura dealer, they will normally provide it free, you will need your VIN.If they want an outrageous amount, here is a site that is much cheaper. If you want to price shop, google 'factory radio unlock codes'.Many sites come up.Good luck! Greg

My 2000 prado radio gone off,has help on screen and a key symbol lit up

Hi.

The radio is locked with the anti theft code.

This happens commonly when the car battery gets disconnected.

The anti theft code is printed in the booklet with car specifications (not the manual).

If you have misplaced the booklet, the easiest way to get this stereo unlocked is going to a car dealer and having the code calculated for a small fee.

Regards.

My car is cr-v 98 but since i replace new battery, my cd player & radio is not working anymore, but every time i turn on the radio it says enter your 5 digit code numbers. But i don't have the code.

OK this is what i would do in this situation: get the model number of your stereo (usually located on the top or bottom of the unit) and the make and either go online to a tech support or call the company directly because what the 5 digit code is is an anti theft system so if anyone steals your stereo they can do anything with it because it locks itself out.So thus if you can contact the company and get the passcode youll be in the green and have a stereo again :)
