I cannot get rocksmith to work on my computer it freezes on screen

Computer freezing problem can be a temporary one, but if a computer freezes regularly when multi-tasking, there's some major issue occurring in your system. When you face such a situation, you need to take necessary steps as soon as possible to fix it:-

- Disinfect your system using some reliable antivirus program.
- Run disk clean up (start > programs > accessories > system tools > disk cleanup.)
- Disable background services.
- Fix OS registry errors with any reliable program (must use Reginout for it.)
- Defragment the registry if needed.

Thanks :-)

My pc game IL2 sturmovik 1946 does not launch

This game and its prequels are known for their notorious Securom copyprotection which created rootkits to your computer. I have it as original CD, but I also have GOG version and I prefer to use it because it is DRM free and will not install Securom files that make your computer and sometime the game too, unstable. The game itself is great! I recommend to make it work and play!

Cant enter it on computer

First here are the minimum requirements needed to run it:
  • Windows XP
  • Pentium III 800 or AMD Athlon 700 MHz processor or faster
  • 256 MB of RAM
  • 1.1 GB free Hard Disk space
  • 8X CD-ROM drive or faster
  • 32 MB DirectX 8.1 compatible 3D Video Card (64 MB recommended)
  • DirectX 8.1 compatible Sound Card
  • DirectX 8.1 or higher
  • 56 Kbps or better Internet connection or LAN multiplayer

My guess is you are trying to run it on vista or windows 7 though and since this game came out in 2001 it's a pretty old game and if you are trying to run it on Vista and Windows 7 you will encounter problems. Download a copy of Dosbox or Virtualbox and use it to run your games. They work very well for older games.

I am attempting to install the IL2 Sturmovik Forgotten Battles on my new computer, desktop Gateway dx4300-11. It will not install. The computer has 8 GB DDR2 Memory, w/1TB Harddrive8 Chan (7.1) High Def...

i would say you may have video card issues. these computers that come from dell and gateway usually dont have a nividia graphics card. my best advice is to take this computer back and get a new one if this is the case because you will find it hard to play many other high end video games. it sorrta sucks but nividia and avi have a clench on video games and their graphics

Logitech attack 3 joystick-does it work with my IL-2 Sturmovik game?

First, check your game documentation to see if your game supports the use of a joystick. Most First Person Shoot 'em Ups do not support joysticks, and only supports mice/gamepads.

If joysticks are supported in your game, please read on...

Make sure that your joystick is properly installed and detected by your computer. You can check in Device Manager or Control Panel > Game Controllers. Also make sure you have the latest software (LGS/WingMan) installed.

Next, you will have to create a new profile for your game in the WingMan Profiler:
  1. Open the Logitech Profiler™ by clicking "Start", "Programs", "Logitech", and then "Launch Logitech Gaming Software".
  2. Click "Profile" from the pull down menus.
  3. Select "New..."
  4. Type in the name of the game the profile is being created for.
  5. In the next field, type the path to the game's executable file. It the exact path is not known, use the "Browse" button.
  6. Select an icon for this game profile and click "OK"
A profile for the game has now been created; however, game commands must also be entered. For information on how to do this, please see Knowledege Base article 274.

Hope that helps.

Please dont forget a FixYa rating if this solution was helpful. Thanks in advance.
