It is most probably a dirty speaker protection relay. gently tap the relay(the one that engages shortly after turning the amp on) when the fault is occurring and see audio returns. This should ascertain the problem. Replace it if it is a sealed type, or if it has a "lid" you can get off, burnish the contacts with a white business card, and give it a spray with contact cleaner/lubricant. Good luck and a "fixYa" rating would be great for my profile :)

SOURCE: Gain on one channel stuck at max

Hi there

Check for a dry solder joint on one end of the vol control(earthy end). This will be causing your problem. The pot itself may actually be faulty to. You can always get stuff like that, just got to identify it. Check soldering to the pot first.

best regards
Graeme

SOURCE: PreAmp to Amp problem

Sorted it. You have to put the plugs back in the PreampOUt/Main in or it cuts out the pre-amp.

I get no sound from my nad t175 preamp connected to a nad t973 (7 ch.) regardless of the media - rca, hdmi, et al. The fuse in the amp is fine, all the lights are working. Regarding the t175 i can see...

Possible that the amplifier has tripped and so gone to a protection mode. Remove power for few hours, press down all panel switches to drain off voltage from the processor. Also check for any short on the speakers before it is powered on.

NAD C350, everything works after i replaced many blown parts except it has no sound output from any channel, just need some ideas on what to check for faults. thanks

With no background on the original problem and no details regarding what parts were replaced how can anyone answer the question?

What exactly does it mean if 'everything works' but it has 'no sound output'? As a two channel amp that would be its ONLY function.

The root cause for 'no sound' could be something as simple as a misplaced control (Tape Monitor?) or missing pre-out/main in links. It's in the manual.

Sounds like you have lost the power amp transistor(s) or IC for this channel.

The right channel on my NAD intergrated amplifier C320Bee no longer works.

if you did test for your cable and speaker and you find it fine-your problem will be in output stage of your amp and needs aid of service center.

You should connect the RCA connectors from your turntable into the phono input of the preamp. Also, make sure you have the grounding wire from the TT connected to the grounding on the preamp (if you do not have a grounding point, then just connect it to one of the screws on the preamp). Then connect the output from the preamp to either the Tape or the CD points on the T760. On the front panel press tape monitor and you're done.

Check and let me know how it goes. My set up's working fine except for clarity, which still needs to be perfected. I'm using a normal step-up phono stage.

Panasonic SA- AK 133 Music system sorround system not working

this is something a tech expert on electronics can handle. even replacing parts has to be attended by a pro-technician. something is wrong with your DSP processor or system components. it could be the switch only or it could be the processor.
