Hi. My only one month old saeco primea touch plus cappucino machine, suddenly dont works. The grinder works, but no coffee comes out. Instead it says prime the machine, but although i accept that, it doesn't change anything. I have cleaned everything thouroghly and tried the different cleaning programs. Any suggestions ?

At the extreme top left of the brew group, above the last filter (mentioned in another response), there is a spring loaded tip that I assume is pushed open by the pressure of the brewed coffee, before the coffee streams to the dispenser nozzles. When I dis-assembled this (2 philips screws) the tip seemed very sticky (slightly jammed?). I pushed the ip several times against a hard surface and freed it up. Re-assembled everything (plus cleaned the last fliter). Works fine again.

I had a similar problem and another posting on this site mentioned that if you remove the brew group - look at the top of the assembly and underneath the head piece you will see a metal disk with small holes in it. These holes can get blocked and stop water from flowing through. You can try brushing with a fine haired brush while washing with water or any other means to remove the blocked holes without damaging the disk. The disk can be removed and inspected by removing the Phillips head screw in the centre if you can find a very small srewdriver to suite - but this may void warranty.

Hi, I have the Saeco Primea Cappucino Touch Plus , and it syddenly gives the error code 5 - Call assistance. I have just changed the primea Water Filter - same way as always ! What can I do ?

Need to prime the machine. The new water filter is causing the air lock in the system.Remove the filter and startup the machine it should prime by itself, when it's ready, fit the filter back and press hot water until the water flows steady. Hope it helps.

Grinder jammed

I'll explain how to in general, you have to work out the rest...first remove 3 screws on the coffee container...and 3 again underneath. To remove the sides..undo 6 T10 screws on RH side and 3 on LH.Then pull the front knob off and remove the coffee spout.Remove the top cover.Check the grinder whether itis accessible from the top ,if not remove 5 phyllips screws that hold the top half.Lift up and pull the grinder out. Good luck!

Check your grinder to see if the grinds may be too fine. Increase the grinder size and see if the coffee speed is increased.
