I wouldn't swear to it but passwords don't change unless someone changes them. If your account has been deleted and account password changed, someone hacked your password and has put the shaft to you. You'll have to create a new account. For security's sake, use a different password, make it at least 8 characters long using a combination of upper and lower case letters, symbols and numbers. It could look something like this: R1kL3t&. Change it quarterly at least.

Msn com homepage

It usually means someone has cracked your password or found a way in to many email accounts with a back door type of software. You should immediately change your password to a more difficult one that involves some numbers. If it is caused by an attack on many accounts, you will need to wait until your email provider closes off that 'hole' in their system. This will happen very quickly as they will be aware of it and working fast. Every time I've seen it, it just involves making a better password. Don't forget to let your contacts know not to click on any links in emails from your account for a week or so to be sure. Hope this helps.

Can't log in to msn.com

When you log in to MSN a website powered by Microsoft you also log in to its Hotmail and Messenger programs.

Hotmail is MSN's email program, while Messenger is an instant messaging and networking program.

Because Messenger and Hotmail are connected to MSN, if you have problems logging into one program, you'll likely have issues logging in to all of them.

Register for Account

The first step to logging in to any MSN-powered sites is to have a Windows Live ID.

This includes an email address, which acts as your username, as well as a password.

The email address must end in either "@hotmail.com," "@live.com" or "@msn.com."

Even though these emails use different domain names, all can be accessed by logging in to the Hotmail homepage.

If you try to log in to MSN or any of its partner sites like Hotmail or Messenger using anything but a Windows Live ID, you won't be allowed to access or create a profile and will be prompted to create a Windows Live account.

Incorrect Password

The most likely reason you aren't able to sign in to your MSN accounts is user error.

Entering an incorrect email address or password will return an error message, informing you that either the email address you provided isn't registered with MSN, or that you entered an incorrect password.

MSN and, hence, Hotmail and Messenger passwords are case sensitive, so check your keyboard's settings before retyping your password a second time.

If you don't remember your password but know your Windows Live ID, you can opt to reset your password by answering some security questions pertaining to your account.

Browser Issues

A slow browser can impact your ability to log in to your MSN accounts.

Try deleting your browser's cookies and clearing its cache before attempting to sign in again. This process varies from browser to browser.

For example, in Internet Explorer, click on the gear icon, "Internet Options" and click "Delete" under Browsing History.

Check the "Cookies" box and click "Delete."

Internet Issues

A slow Internet connection can also hinder your login attempts.

Check your Internet connection to make sure you're connected to the Internet.

Also, check that you're working online instead of offline, which can prevent you from logging in.

Click on the "File" tab at the top of your browser, and make sure there's not a check mark next to the words "Work Offline."

If there is, click on the words to uncheck that option and sign in again.

There might be some interference from another browser

Create the menu tab on your homepage right click in the top toolbar you should see a number of toolbar options select the menu tab which will add File Edit View Favorites Tools and Help

Click on the tools at the bottom of the drop down list will be internet options or
click start control panel internet options you will see a home page box To Create Page Tabs type

each adress on its own line (type in MSN.com) or you preferred home page and browser
below that will be change search defaults click on settings you will see all search providers you have if dont need any of them you can disable or remove them.

Hope this helps.

Try to go to http://login.live.com/ and try the forgotten password option, and you'll have a new password in your mailbox, log in with that and change the password inside and she'll be able to log in to her account once again.

Hi i'm hoping you can help me. My hotmail has recently stopped letting me log in. i know my password is correct, it stopped letting me access my e-mail's about two weeks ago i would imagine. I have no...

Can you log into MSN if you have it? because if not, I'm afraid to say that it would be your password details by the sound of what has happened. The two are strongly related and if your hotmail and facebook have stopped working then most likely someone has got hold of your password(s) and changed them, otherwise it would be a extreme coincidence that the two were not related to password theft. The best thing to do is to create a new hotmail account and immediately let all your contacts know about the false account someone has hacked into and have a stronger password which is numbers and symbols such as % or ! in your password to prevent it from being easily found out. If you can login, refere to the hotmail technical support and let them know the situation, but it seems unlikely because you also mentioned problems with facebook

Hope this helps you

My msn is not letting me on says my password doesnt exist but yit no one knows my password,And when a try to change it the secret question that i am supposed to have is the wrong one

If your secret question is not the one it should be, then you are either trying to get into the wrong account, or someone has guessed the answer to your secret question and changed it, so they now have access to your email account.

You cannot access now, period.
However, *S* This happened to a friend of mine once, and he opened a new email account and sent an email to his OLD account very politely asking for the password so he could get his email back.
Sure enough, he must have been a nice hacker, because he sent him the new password.
He then accessed his account again, and changed the password and the hint question ( to a better one)

The net can be a very surprising place. *s*
Good luck.

Cant get in to hot mail

hi,

I have three ways you can try

1. your standard navigation through msn
2. sign in through msn messenger
3. stock outlook program on xp

If you cant get in by any of those youve got a problem, I had a problem like that and it turned out I had been phished(stolen password) and someone started to use my screenname to send spam among other neat stuff, contact microsoft help and tell them what has happened, you may have to set up a new account. What happened with me is Microsoft contacted me through my email among other people and told me to change my password, which I did to alphanumeric numbers and letters, no problems since, I change my password once a month now

good luck
