The computer is a Compaq Evo . I do not know if this is the correct model on the motherboard. I found this info on the motherboard: Model MS 6541. I have not done anything as clock this computer or reformate it. I got it from from where I work. The fans work but nothing appears on the screen. It seems to go on but nothing appears on the screen.

Check your video card, replace it and see if it works...also try changing your memory modules (swap them) try cleaning dust from inside of enclosure..

your mainboard is MicroStar MSI 6541 and its Compaq Evo 310

hope this helps

The only solution i can think of for thet problem is thet the cable from the display and graphic card might be the problem. And if you're screen starts when you start the computer and then it turn it self of with out any resson. it might be the grapic card error some how. try to reset the Bios and such if it's not helping..

Post back if you have more info on the problem.. as you know it's kind hard for us to fix the problem if it's hand needed problem as hardwear dmg...

Rate my solution if it whos help ful any kind of way.. or for trying atlast.. Ty

When I turn on my computer the LG Monitor displays the Digital Message appears and it goes to sleep. How do I fix this problem

This sounds like what happens when the monitor receives no video input.
The problem could be your computer, lead or connection rather than the monitor.

If your computer has a graphics card, try removing it, switching the computer on, switching off and refitting the graphics card or testing with a known good graphics card or computer.

If nothing works the monitor probably has a fault.

My compaq fs7600 monitor wont turn on

Hook a spare monitor to the computer, if no change! the Video Graphics Card is suspect usually built into the motherboard. But if spare shows picture, the problem lies in the HP monitor, as a last resort change the video cord from the computer to the monitor "if possible" to rule out something simple.

Check to see if you have inadvertently hit the CRT button which turns off your screen to turn on an externally connected screen even if there is no external screen plugged in. OR you could have a bad (Back-light) or (Inverter)

Is the card plugged into the (PCI/AGP) slot correctly? Did you disable the onboard video in the bios? Also be sure to check in windows device manager and check for the graphics card to appear there.

Nothing on the screen after power on

Turn on the computer and complete the following steps: Step 1: Check cable connections (If you can see the initial HP or Compaq logo screen but later lose the picture, you can skip to Step 2.) check the video cable connection on the back of the computer and on the monitor. Make sure that it is connected properly and the connecting screws are tight. Turn the monitor off and then back on again (while the computer is on) to see if an image appears. Some Flat Panel monitors have two similar power input connections placed side-by-side on the back of the monitor, which sometimes allows them to get confused for one another. One connector is used to supply power to the speakers with a separate power cord, while the other connector is used for the monitor's power adapter. Ensure that you have the monitor's power adapter cord plugged into the power connector and not the speaker connector. After you have reconnected the power cord, turn on the monitor (while the computer is on) to see if an image appears. If there is still no image, continue to the next Step. Step 2: Resetting the monitor At first setup, or under certain signal conditions, the monitor may not be able to switch to a new display resolution. Do NOT shut down or restart the computer. Instead, perform the following steps: Turn off the monitor using the Power button on the front. If the Power button does not respond, unplug the power cord from the back of monitor and wait five seconds. Plug the power cord back in. You should see the image from the computer on the screen.
