Are the aair intake blocked? if note them it needs to be defrosted and them turned back on youcan easily defrost the unit by taking a shop vac and blowing the warm air from the outlet to thaw out the coil. Then you have to take the pahel off to make sure that the coils is clear and the drainline not plugged up. Good luck.

Water dispenser line frozen, items freezing in fridge side. Freezer constantly running/blowing

Your freezer is what actually cools the refrigerator. The cool air enters from that spot on the top left of the freezer. Make sure that isn't blocked. It's sounds like the thermostat that controls the air flow from the freezer to the refrigerator isn't working or the air flow control device is stuck.

Either way if you can, unload and unplug the unit. This will do to things. First it will reset the circuits that control everything and secondly if the air flow control is frozen thawing out the refrigerator and freezer may free it up.

Fridge ED22RQXXWOO freezer side working fridge side not cooling

Hi JB,

Is there frost in the freezer section at or around the bottom? If so a defrost problem might be the issue.
Here is a test for the air flow issue. At the air inlet of the fridge section, put your hand up there, is there air flow with the freezer door closed? With the freezer door open is the air flow better or increased?
If air flow is increased, chances are the you have an air flow restriction between both chambers and you will need to locate the obstruction.
So with this information this should lead you to a conclusion that is ice is on the evaporator you have a defrost issue, if you have no ice, than look for air flow issue.

Good Luck.

GE Profile Refridgerator side warm, freezer ok?

Fridge gets cold air from freezer to cool it. Your freezer is fine but not enough cold air is getting into fridge compartment. U have some dampers or louvers that direct air flow to fridge and if they are not set properly cooling will not be adequate. Check those out.

This is a Kitchenaid KSRS22FGBL00 - The freezer works good with a temp of -20c but the fridge side is not cold & has a temp of 8c. There is no frost build up anywhere. The air vents are not blocked. ...

Hello hlook,

I understand that you are having a problem with your side-by-side refrigerator. The Frezzer is staying closed and the fridge is not getting the air flow from the freezer in order to stay cold. The only possibility it can be is the fan. The fan may be turning but not at the rpms needed to move the air in to the fridge. As I have looked at the air flow chart for your fridge that is the only outcome I can come up with. CLICK HERE to view the air flow chart for your firdge.

With the cover off of the fan try and judge how much air is being moved by the fan. It should have pretty good air flow like the low setting on a box fan. You should be able to fell the air flow from two to three feet away.

Thank you for choosing FixYa.com

ON MY KENMORE SIDE BY SIDE REFRIGERATOR THE FRIDGE ISNT GETTING COLD BUT MY FREEZER IS FINE

Check to see if the air flow vents are not being blocked. The refrigerator side sucks air from the freezer side and blows it through vents on the side top and is controled by a thermostat marked, usually Refrigerator Cooling. If your thermostat is off, then no air, if the thermostat is kaput, then no air.

ck the dampner control as it controls the air flow to the fresh food side. also see if the evap fan is working .. inside the freezer side . this blows the cold air to the fresh food side. mm
