Question about Microsoft Xbox 360 Console
Whenever i turn my xbox on i get these weird discolorations. During loading screens a bunch of blue dots appear on the black portions of the screen and sometimes they will flash sometimes they will be solid and not move. On video games, such as CoD 5, when at the main menu nothing is wrong with it, but during actual game play there will be dotted lines going down my screen. It's somewhat like in the matrix how the green lines go down the screen and the people can read it. Except my lines are black and continuously go down.
I had this happen a few times, then after a while it stoped working all together. In the end I was getting the E74 message code appear when I turned on my xbox 360.
You'll probley get this happen with yours soon, the E74 code means theres a problem with your visual display.
Sometimes it can be as simple as changing your HD Lead or scart lead, whatever your using. If you know someone else with a xbox try theirs.
If this doesn't work you'll have to send it off to mircosoft, it will be free if your still under warrenty, if not I think it's about £100+
Or you could go on www.cd24-7.co.uk and buy one of their DIY kits.
Hope this helps.
