I have the same problem with my Amana furnace. Furnace cycle starts, flames go, then stops, and repeats cycle several times until furnace "gives up." The flame detectors have been replaced a couple times by the local HVAC Co. but shortly after the 1 yr warranty expires, the problem recurs. I suspect the flame detectors are toast. Also, this causes the igniters to cycle WAY more than they should, and they start to degrade, too.

The first thing to check would be the filters in the house to make sure they are clean, then check for any blockage. One easy way of seeing if the airflow is good, just put your hands in front of a vent and see how its blowing. Your furnace has what you would call sensors, and if they sense the air flow is inaccurate or to hot inside the unit, the unit will run, but not light. Also, if it tries to relight to many times, the furnace will go into lock out and you have to manually reset it by cutting the power to the furnace. Its kinda hard to diagnose these sometimes over the pc, but I hope it helps.

Aprilaire 760 keeps running.

The humidifier should not turn on untill the furnace blower starts. Since the fan stays on. does the solenoid valve also stay on? If they both stay on you probably have a bad humidistat. If only the blower stays on then the circuit bourd in the humidifier is defective.
Good luck

My humidifier is set at 40% but the humidistat reading never

Have you measured the amount of water dripping into the drain? The specification is 1 quart in 2 and half minutes. If it is much less, get your solenoid checked. I had the same problem and got it replaced and it works as per specification now. You also need to see how many minutes in an hour your furnace is actually running. The humidifier runs only when the furnace is, so the more it runs the better. The specification is 35% with the furnace running at 70%.

Honeywell furnace humidifier thermostat & other

sounds like to me you have a condensation pump attached to your hvac system. this can be used to pump water produced during the cooling of your house when in the a/c mode. if you have a typical bypass humidifier, you will have excess water running past the water panel and it must be sent to a drain of some kind. I would imagine the pump is being used to get your bypass water to the drain. another scenario may be that you have a 90% condensing furnace. if your exhaust pipe for the furnace is made out of pcv pipe, it is a condensing gas furnace. it will produce water when it is running. the water if from the combustion gases being condensed in the secondary heat exchanger. this is normal. some condensing gas furnaces will draw combustion air from inside the house and some will have a second pvc pipe that is used to pulll combustion air from the outside of the house. either way, it is not dehumidifying your house. the humidifier should be able to keep up if it is runnng properly. you should have water running out the bottom drain of the humidifier any time the fan on your furnace is running and the humidistat is calling for humidity. if this is not happening, it is not wired properly.

Furnace pilot problem

check the pilot gas pressure, might be too weak and blowing out when the blower starts, the clicking noise is the gas valve shutting down when it detecks no pilot flame, that park is normal.

Furnace shuts down, will not start up again

Yeup, sounds like a natural draft. A power vent system vents out the side of the house without a chimney, but because there is no draft of hot air rising up a chimney, a powered fan is used. Power vents have additional sensors that can cause the burner to shut down.

If the burner does fire but then shuts down it sounds like the flame sensing rod is not working. It is dirty or needs replacement. Are there any error codes when the burner shuts down, or an indicator lamp that shows when the controller detects a flame?
