SOURCE: reset Norcold 'N61 Series' Fridge after lockout

Hi Lynn1965,

I'm Harvey the Master Plumber.

Yor problem is: Please help! Your brother phoned you on his cell from up north. He's supposed to go hunting tomorrow, and is having problems with his fridge. The nearest dealer is 5 hours away, and he's very upset.
The fridge went into lockout mode after accidentally resetting twice. Now, the lights flash, and fridge doesn't work.
Please advise how he can fix this problem himself. You both would greatly appreciate it!!

First, unplug the unit for 10 minutes. That should reset it. If not, ask if he can here the compressor motor. If not, then he has a compressor or electrical failure inside. If yes then look to a bad thermostat.

SOURCE: How do you reset circuit board on norcold refrigerator

No way to do that other than to unplug refrigerator for at least ten minutes and then plug back in. Don't use surge protector, power strip, or extension cord.

Fridge will not work on AC mode. AC is present into fridge.

There should be a code appearing on the display. If you are not getting any 12V to the Fridge your fridge will not function. You may also want to check for any blown fuses inside the electronic board assembly. ">

The Norcold board reset is done by jumping a pin terminal to ground. There are several steps involved but it's all pretty straight forward. Here is an article on the steps of doing this: Norcold Refrigerator in Lockout Mode do you need to reset your power board

Error message reading NO co is beeping.

I have done a bit of google research and this code probably means "Not Cooling" Due to a power interruption or sometimes if you do the initial cool down from 12v (instead of gas or AC). There are a couple of other causes but often all the unit needs is a reset. I found some details and instructions here but they don't specify an exact model. There were other details here but they refer to pages that are no longer available..

This should put you on the right track. Just do some more googleing if these details aren't specific enough.
