How do I set up a wireless printer. I am on a wireless network now. How do I make my printer wireless??

The HP Officejet 7310 has an optional bluetooth wireless adapter. If you purchased the option, you will need bluetooth connectivity at your computer end. Alternatively, you could purchase a third party wireless adapter.
Other than that, you will need to connect your printer to your router/wireless network then all computers will be able to print wirelessly to it through the router.
Hope this helps.

I have an hp laserjet 1000 series and it is not connecting to my computer

Most probably you have either a defective USB cable, or the USB port on the computer is not working properly. To separate the cause of the problem, first try to use another working USB cable to connect the printer to the computer & see if this works.

I have a hp 450 printer and a new mac book. Is there any way to get a converter cable to work these 2 together?

Yes...............

Your HP 450 should of came with a high-speed, bi-directional connection cable that goes between your USB port printer and PC or Mac.
Hewlett Packard recommends the HP USB 2.0 Printer Cable for your printer to Mac.

If you shop the web, or your town, you will be able to purchase the cable. One important thing to do is install the "MAC" HP 450 Printer Drivers on your new MAC first before plugging in the Printer. If you lost your install CD, you can download them free at www.hp.com - drivers and support.

As you know "B" goes to the printer and "A" goes to the Mac.

I have just purchased a Deskjet D1560 ptinter,I am a bit of a novice and have an old computer it is a Windows 98 can I use this printer on this computer and also what kind of USB cable do I need?

Drivers for Win '98 may not be available for this printer. Checked HP's website online manual. Nothing is said about support for Win '98. Options- upgrade your computer to Win XP (you might need some hardware upgrades, RAM, Hard disk etc.). Purchase a new or newer computer. There is the possibility you might be able to use drivers for an older HP Deskjet, such as the DJ694 or DJ8xx series. Drivers are downloadable from HP's website.

USB cable: First, do you have USB connections on your machine? If you don't know what they look like, look online, or a computer store salesperson could show you. It is possible your Win '98 machine doesn't have them-

Conecting an older HP parallel printer to a new computer

Better if you get USB HP printer to use with it. The only way to use that what you have it to get a printer server that supports parallel cable and connect the print server to your router using Ethernet LAN cable.

Has power but doesnt do anything

I would probably want to try a new/different parallel interface cable. If that doesn't work, I would strongly recommend purchasing a new printer. The DeskJet 600-series models are Jurassic Park stuff.
