Download the last Firmware-File from Philips and extract it. In the extracted folder is a file called execute.bin. This file must be moved over the Micro-USB-cable to the internal root folder. After a restart the photo frame should be automatically install the last firmware.

My Philips 9FF2CME/37 photo frame no longer holds a battery charge. How do I access the battery so that I can replace it? What type (make/model#) battery?

Hello,
the Philips 9FF2 photo frame has an internal rechargeable battery inside the photo frame. So in other words, the Philips 9FF2 photo frame needs to be disassembled for you to be able to access the battery, then make necessary replacement.
With the Philips 9FF2 photo frame turned off and remove from the charger, get a screw driver, use it to disassemble the unit to take the back cover apart in order to gain access to the internal part to get to the battery.
Remove the battery, take it to any electronics part store in your area and get a battery replacement. It is not necessary that you get a Philips battery, all you need is a battery with the same size and volt/watt.
I hope the above is clear.
Regards.

Have a new 8 gig memory. Shows full before all pictures load, should have loads of room?

I would format it using your computer, then try loading in your photos again.

In Window, go to your file explorer, right click on the drive and click Format.

It's ok to do a 'quick format'.

This will delete everything on the drive.
Now try loading on your photos, and see if that made a difference.

Whenever I load photos onto my photo frame from the PC, they all seem to transfer just fine. But then when running the slideshow, not all the pictures are showing up. When I go into the photo menu on the...

The issue may be due to the file types of the pictures you are sending to the frame. You did not include the model number of the frame, so I can't be sure of the file types it can display but generally, JPG file types enjoy the most compatibility on such devices.

You should determine the file types of the images you are sending to the display. While displaying the slideshow, make a note of an image that displays properly. Look at the the image on your computer and check the file details to learn which file type it is. Play the slideshow on the frame and double check as many as you can against the list / thumbnails on the computer. After a short time, a trend show be visible. You may find that JPG and GIF files display properly, but TIF and others do not.

If you want those pictures to display, you'll have to convert them to one of the file types that does display. If you're finding that only some JPG (or other displayable file type) do not display properly, you'll have to see what is different. Sometimes, very large files may not display correctly, or it may have "too much color" information (they might be a 16 bit graphic or 16 million colors instead of an 8 bit graphic or 256 colors), or some other issue that isn't readily apparent. You can try resizing or converting to yet another format that is supported by the display (GIF for instance).

This is a starting point - hopefully you'll find the issue within one of these suggestions. Good luck! Please rate my reply - thank you.

Hi bon_kahlua_r,

It means that your Digital Photo Frame might not have support for the file formats of some pictures that you saved. Most Digital Photo Frame supports *.jpg formats. Please check the manual of your Digital Photo Frame as well as the files that your saved. Right-click on the pictures that are not supported then Click Properties. You should be able to see the file format of the picture then compare it to the Frame's manual if it's supported.

Thanks
