My samsung tocco will not turn on! the screen turns on, saying SGH-F480, with the bar across the bottom loading up, but when the bar gets to the end, it just goes blank for a sesond, and then repeats this same process on a constant loop! any suggestions, or is it buggered?
Yup I have the same problem. Sent mine back on monday to T-Mobile. I have had this problem since I got this replacement handset (after my first one i dropped....). Anyway, what I have found is that if you flash it with new firmware, even if the same that was already in the phone, it will work for a few days, maybe even 2 weeks, but no more than that. Once you power it off, it wont boot again until the phone is flashed again.
I dont know how to fix it. Just send it back to your supplier for a repair/replacement and tell them that a flash seems to work but only for a few days.Yup I have the same problem. hi colin i have a suggestion
there is one solution that has worked for me, take this mobile to a mobile phone shop that does mobile phone unlocking ask them to flash the handset( basically this is taking of all the software and installing up to date software) they could charge you up to £20 to do this because this is a hard job
the reason why this needs to be done is because the tocco handset you have may have lost a file when it turned off this is always happends on the samsung tocco
i am talking from experience i have flashed bout 15-20 toccos with the same problem

this happend to me, i think you can confuse the touch screen, i just took the battery out and put it back in again, and it worked with no memory loss or anything.
press Camera button + volume down + power button ( together ) if the mobile turn on and show ( download or any word .. so you can fix it by changing the software )
