Question about Ovens

1 Answer

F2E1 the oven beeped and went off. I tried to turn it on again and it wouldn't. After it cooled I pressed Cancel. I had to reset the clock and everything seemed to correct itself. I was scared as its before Christmas and I really dont want to buy another stove right now. I did have a pizza stone in the oven and a pan on the floor of the oven so perhaps I helped caused this problem. I will not put these back. The question is, IS this a problem that I Should have looked into or is it taken care of now?

Electronic control has detected a fault or error condition. Press CANCEL to clear the display & stop beeping. Try the selected feature again. If the E or F error code repeats, remove power from appliance, wait 5 minutes and then repower appliance. Try the selected feature again. If the fault recurs, record the fault or error code and call for service.

Oven heats & then beeps code F2EO then stops heating

F2 - E0 Shorted keypad (also called touch pad)

1. Check keypad connector for firm connection (keypad connects to control board).
2. Press CANCEL. If error code returns after 60 seconds, replace keypad (also called touch pad or membrane switch). Some models incorporate keypad in to control board as one unit. In this case, replace control board (also called ERC or clock).
Here is that part to order.

What is F5 Frigidaire oven unit, it's beeping and

Hello,
The F5 ERROR code means that the self check that the control (also called clock)board runs to check itself has failed and the control has detected a problem within itself and the control must be repalced.

I have a bosch oven and the power in my house went out during a storm and when it came back my oven started beeping and has not stopped since... what do i do???

Hello- You may have done this already, to save your sanity, but I would turn off the breaker for a few minutes. It is most likely beeping to tell you there was a power failure (as if you didn't notice). Once it is back on you will need to reset the clock, it may not stop beeping until you do this or press cancel. If this does not remedy the beeping there may have been a power surge that caused damage to the control board in which case you should call a Tech out to have a look. Good luck, best regards.

F2E1 on stove after cooking on temps of 425-450 for 20mins stove shuts off and can not restart even if power is turned off and then started. must wait for stove to cool down and then press cancel and stove...

Is the background cooling fan running? Also, look under the oven and if possible take off the kick panel and clean all the rubbish out to ensure the cooling fan can circulate air round. As a check, when you turn any part of the oven on ( Main/top/grill) the cooling fan will run and you will feel a cool draft of air coming out of the gap just above the top of the main oven door. If the fan is not running, this will cause the unit to overheat and the overheat thermostats to kick in, turning the oven off.
If the fan is not running, you will have to take the whole unit out to gain access to the back panel.

Whirlpool oven accubake system

I have a whirlpool accubake wall oven. Half-way through baking a pie ,unknown to me, the oven went to the self-clean mode , the door locked and the pie started to burn. I tried to turn the oven off but it would not cut off. I immediately ran to the house's main power and turned off the oven breaker. I waited for a short time to let the oven cool enough to open the door and get the burned pie out, then went back to turn my breaker back on and the oven (even though in the off mode) started heating again with the bottom unit turning red again. I had to then go back and pull the power. We tried this several times trying to push the off button but the oven will not go off until we throw the breaker. Help please!
