Question about Dell Dimension C521 PC Desktop
I cannot open any browser on my Dell Dimension C521, I tried using the recovery disc and when I try to register the windows, it tells me I have no internet connection, that is not so, I am using another computer right now on the same ethernet connection and modem. I have been trying to fix the other one but now all I get is a blue screen. I had found a site that told me it had an internet transponder virus but I can't get into the Start menu to try to fix it the way it explains. Is it my hard drive and do I need to purchase a new HD? And please tell me exactly where the HD is. Thank you. Any help would be appreciated.
You could just reformat your hard drive. (This will erase all information on the hard drive.) Get a Vista/XP Installtion disk and boot up computer, press F8 right after the BIOS screen and click CD drive and follow the steps.
