Question about Canon PC980 ADF Document Feeder Assembly
When feeding more than one original, the ADF frequently feeds multiple pages at once. Is there something I can clean and/or adjust to address this problem? It has been doing this for a long time and I've finally reached the point where I want to do something about it!

SOURCE: Canon PC980 ADF PROBLEM
not really familiar with this model, however, you should be able to open the cover (slightly) where the paper feeds in and you will see some rubber rollers (likely top and bottom), try cleaning these with a rag dampened with some alcohol (preferably), or water, and turning gently (do not force). If you use water, dry them afterward

Yes,but the most imported part for dubble feeding is the sepatation pad, this white pad is on the lower part of the docfeeder and work with the feed rollers, fist make sure that pad is clean before you replace the rollers, and then replace the pad.

There should be a button with settings on it.....ie: 2 sided, collate, etc. There should be an option to change paper settings.......or just clear the whole menu, and go to default to reset the rollers.
