Question about Hitachi 57S500 57" Rear Projection Television

1 Answer

Out of alignment

I was offer a 57" Hitachi Ultravision projection TV on craigslist for free. They said that it worked fine before they moved, but some how during the moving process the picture got knocked out of alignment. I haven't went to pickit up yet, but was wondering if it is even worth my time? Is this a simple fix or could it be more exspensive that it would be worth?

If it is a convergence problem it would probably run around 250
unless somebody was trying to rip you off
I would get it and install the convergence kit

The power source detects an overload on one of its exits and shuts down to protect itself. The tv must be opened and tested by a knowledgeable person who can identify and replace the failed part.
